20’s IN THE PEWS: total collected in October is £113.07.The Kirk Session has decided to donate funds raised this year to support the work of Combat Stress at Hollybush House, Ayr.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the November edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.20.
MENS ASSOCIATION: the next meeting – Mon 14th November 7.3opm Struthers room. Speaker is Dr Mike Blair “China in Slides”, visitors made most welcome.
FOODBANK: Thank you for your continued support. All foods are very gratefully accepted – long life milk, diluting juice, tinned meals, tinned vegetables, tins of fruit, jars of coffee and jam, packets instant mash, packets of custard, rice, spaghetti and noodles are most needed!
“OASIS”: Drop in cafe, Struthers’ Room this Thursday 10.30 – 12.00. This is a place to relax, a place to chat, bring a friend! Come when you can, leave when you want. The morning papers are available.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH: Congregational Christmas Lunch at Enterkine House Hotel on Sunday 11th December – the list is closed but there is a reserve list to which you may add your name if you would like to attend… Two courses, coffee and mince pies, £22.00 and a glass of bubbly on arrival.

NEW ADDITIONS TO LIBRARY: a few books on the amazing 14th century mystic Julian of Norwich AND coming soon some books on Advent and Christmas. Because we have so many books we decided to put children’s collection at back, and adults at front as normal. Muriel- librarian

The funeral service for Mr. George Wilson of Bourtree Park, Ayr, will be held at Masonhill, tomorrow, Monday, at 1.15pm. Our warmest sympathy and prayers are extended to his wife, Myrette, to Lorna, Morven and Muir and all the family.
The funeral service for Mrs. Joyce Calderwood of Templeton House Care Home, Ayr, will be held at Masonhill on Saturday, 19th November at 11.15am. Our warm thoughts and sympathy are extended to the family in Nottingham.
With sadness we record the sudden death of Mrs. May Kerr of Arran Terrace. The service of Thanksgiving will take place at Masonhill on Tuesday 15th November at 2.00pm. May was a very faithful attender at the 9.30 service and a generous supporter of the Food Bank. We extend our heartfelt sympathy and support are extended to Merrick and Caroline and the family.
