OASIS CAFÉ: Drop into the Struthers Room 10.30am – 12 for a cup of tea/coffee. The Team will be here every Thursday morning, with a warm welcome, cosy chat and friendly faces.
GUILD: Tomorrow, 20 January at 7.30 pm is our Burns’ Evening. Our speaker will be Ronnie Breingan and his presentation is “Robert Burns and Money”, followed by a Supper. We look forward to a large attendance and anyone outwith the Guild will be most welcome.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP – OKLAHOMA! – sing along! A night at the movies. A Fund raiser event on Monday 10 February at 7pm. Tickets £6 available after the Services from next week. Refreshments will be served at intermission.
LIBRARY NEWS: A new addition – Greta Thunberg “No one is too small to make a difference” – full of thought provoking ideas.
SUNDAY SOUP LUNCH – TODAY 19th January at 12.30pm in the main Hall. All proceeds this week will be for the Hospice.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE FOODBANK Please remember a few extra items for the Food Bank. Tinned main meals, tinned fish, UHT milk, tinned potatoes and tinned vegetables, jam and coffee are high on the list of requirements.
THANK YOU: we have received letters of thanks for the Christmas donation of £1,060 to the Diabetic unit at Ayr Hospital and for the Annual donation of £930 to Mary’s Meals. The letters can be read in full on the notice board in the Carrick Park vestibule.
The funeral service for Miss Catherine Howie will be held in Church on Thursday 23rd January at 12 noon. We continue to remember Drew, Mo, Gillian and Mr. Howie Sr. in our prayers.
