MINISTRY OF FLOWERS: Our sincere apologies for intimating the flower donors incorrectly last week. THE DEDICATION of the Struthers’ Room in memory of our former Beadle, Tom, and his wife, Margaret, will take place in the Room after the second service today.
THE MEMORIAL SERVICE for Mr. Gordon Tiley whose funeral was held in Gloucestershire before Christmas will be held in the Church on Tuesday 3rd March at 2.30pm
20’s IN THE PEWS: The total collected in January was £55.36. This year monies will go to The Beatson Cancer Charity. This Charity has been established fairly recently and provides support services for patients and families involved with the Beatson.
TRUSTEES – all active Elders are requested to collect their copies of the Draft Accounts and Budget proposal from the appropriate pigeonhole this morning, ahead of the Trustees meeting on Tuesday 24th February at 7.30pm in the Church.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the February edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.00.
FOOD BANK: Most needed this week are long life milk, fruit juice, diluting juice, sugar and custard.
Always needed and gratefully received – jam, packets of noodles, tins of vegetables, tins of fruit, coffee and bags of ’80’s tea bags.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY will be held in the Carrick Room on Wednesday 25 February at 2.00pm. All welcome.
HALL LETS MEETING: notice is given of the Hall Let meeting for 2015/16 – this will be held on Wednesday 11th March at 7.00pm in the Struthers’ Room. Lets will be allocated on a first come first served basis … please make sure your Group is represented.
THE MONDAY CLUB: tomorrow evening’s speaker is Mr. Mike Manley, who will tell us of the work of “Ayr Hospital Radio”. This should be an interesting subject and the Committee look forward to welcoming all members. Friends who would like to join us for the evening will also be most welcome.
THE MEN’S ASSOCIATION: Tomorrow evening the 23rd sees Bill Rogers making a welcome return following his excellent slide presentation last year. This time his presentation is on the link with Ayr’s twin town St Germain-en-Laye. This is sure to be an excellent evening so any non-members interested will be warmly welcomed.
AYR FORT PLAYERS: some of our members are appearing in the upcoming production – “No sex please, we’re British” in the Gaiety Theatre from Wednesday 18th – Saturday 21st March. Tickets are available at the Gaiety Box Office.
