THE MARCH PRAYER CALENDAR is available on the website.

LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies have been delivered to you by the Life and Work Convenor. Many thanks Hazel.

OASIS CAFÉ: During our enforced closure – please remember your Thursday morning friends and maybe give each other a call!

FOOD BANK: Please remember that the need for donations of all basic foods is even more urgent during this crisis. If you go to the Church website or FB page you will find details of places where food can still dropped off.

COLUMBA NEWS: will not be printed in April but our editor Norman will be producing a newsletter which will be uploaded to the website. editor.columbanews@gmail.com

KIND WISHES – Among the many lovely phone calls the satellite office has received this week was one from Christine Sime (now in Inverurie). Many of you will remember Christine and Bob, both of whom were elders. Christine regularly receives the Columba News and enjoys keeping up with everyone at St Columba. Christine is in her 90’s and is the oldest member of her congregation, but doesn’t get out as much as she would like. Those who know Christine will not be surprised to hear she has an exercise bike which she uses every morning and still does her daily Yoga. She called to keep in touch and wish us all well during the isolation.

REMEMBER – WEBSITE please remember to look at the other tabs/pages for Prayers and Reflections; information about available help and Sermons.

Our sympathy and prayers are extended to the family of Gavin Orr, who passed away this week.

Our sincere condolences are extended to Fiona and all the family on the passing of Peter Maclaren in Glenfairn Care Home this past week.

Please note: Attendance at funerals is now restricted to close family and friends

SERMONS ONLINE: The text of the sermon for this week is available on our website. www.ayrstcolumba.co.uk
