20’s IN THE PEWS: The total collected in April was £108.86. This year monies will go to The Beatson Cancer Charity. This Charity has been established fairly recently and provides support services for patients and families involved with the Beatson.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the May edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.00.
FOOD BANK: Foods most needed at the moment are milk, fruit juice, tinned or packet meals, small packets of rice, sachets of instant mash, coffee and jam. Thank you for all your support.
AYRSHIRE HOSPICE STARLIGHT WALK: Team St. Columba has been in training and is ready to take on the Ayrshire Hospice Starlight Walk Challenge. Well done to everyone who has registered to walk. If you do not feel up to a 13 mile midnight walk please sponsor our team. Forms are available in the Carrick Park vestibule.
THE LUNCHEON CLUB summer outing on 8th May 2015 Departing Church 9.00 am will visit Abbotsford Centre & Café with an optional (extra) Guided Tour of Mansion House and on to High Tea at the Tontine Hotel, Peebles. The bus will depart from the Church at 9.00 am. Monies are now due –please make cheques payable to Jean Stewart, dated 8th May .Enquiries – Jean at 263343
SCOUT COFFEE MORNING: will be held in the Church Hall on Saturday 9th May 10 – 12 noon. Tickets, priced £2.50 for adults and £1.00 for children, will be available at the Church door after each service.
THE BOOK CLUB next meets on Monday 11 May at 2pm in the New Carrick Room, when we will be discussing ‘Where Memories Go’ by Sally Magnusson. All welcome!
