ELDERS COMMUNION DUTY: All Elders are asked to check the Communion Duty lists in the Carrick Park vestibule and to place a tick beside their name to confirm their availability.
ELDERS are asked to uplift their copies of “Columba News” for immediate delivery ahead of Communion on Sunday 30th October.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the October edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.20.
MEN’S ASSOCIATION: Next meeting Monday 17th Oct. at 7 30 in Struthers Room. The speaker is Barbara Graham on the work of “Marie Curie”. New members and visitors always welcome.
FOODBANK: Thank you for your continued support. All foods are very gratefully accepted – long life milk, diluting juice, tinned meals, tinned vegetables, tins of fruit, jars of coffee and jam, packets instant mash, packets of custard, rice, spaghetti and noodles are most needed!
“OASIS”: Drop in cafe, Struthers’ Room this Thursday 10.30 – 12.00. This is a place to relax, a place to chat, bring a friend! Come when you can, leave when you want. The morning papers are available.
CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED – Every Wednesday at 7pm for 7 weeks, from 19 October to 30 November in the Centenary Aisle. The night commences with a cup of tea, followed by a short film that introduces the topic and then discussion groups, allowing you to explore faith, doubt and any questions you may have in a relaxed and non-threatening environment. Please let Graeme or Irene know if you intend to come along.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH: If you would like to go to our Congregational Christmas Lunch at Enterkine House Hotel on Sunday 11th December, please add your name to the List in the Carrick Park Vestibule. Two courses, coffee and mince pies, £22.00 and a glass of bubbly on arrival.
HEARING AID SERVICE – DID YOU KNOW? You can have your hearing aid serviced; collect batteries have tubing changed etc. at a library near you. Full details are available in the Carrick Park Vestibule.

The Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Mrs. Margery Turnbull of Dongola Road, Ayr will be held in the Church on Monday, 24th October, at 2.00pm. Our warmest sympathy is extended to Alistair, Lorna and their families.

The funeral service for Mrs Dorothy Simpson, formerly of Laughlanglen Road, and latterly of Bellevue Care Home, will be held on Wednesday, 19th October at 2.45 at Masonhill Crematorium. Our warmest sympathy is extended to all the family.
