20’s IN THE PEWS: The total collected in February was £55.36. This year monies will go to The Beatson Cancer Charity. This Charity has been established fairly recently and provides support services for patients and families involved with the Beatson.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the February edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.00.
DIABETES SCOTLAND: who were the recipients of our 20’s in the pews in 2014 have written to thank the Congregation for their wonderful collection of £1316.00 which we are assured will be put to the best possible use in the support of people with Diabetes and in the research to develop better treatment.
MARY’S MEALS: have written to thank the Congregation most sincerely for the donation of £973.00. This is an amazing total garnered from your copper coins and donations during 2014. There is a lovely story of how Mary’s Meals have changed one little boy’s life in the letter on the noticeboard. Please continue this wonderful support in 2015.
FOOD BANK: The food requested is determined by demand. Always needed are: long life milk, diluting juice, jam, small packets pasta, noodles and rice, small packets sugar, tins of fruit, packet custard and instant mash.
THE GUILD: meet tomorrow at 2pm. Mr David Walker will share – “Glasgow Buildings – Secret Places & Hidden Treasures” with the audience. All most welcome.
WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY Wednesday Evening Bible Study will be on 4 February at 7.30pm in the Struthers Room. We will explore the infancy narratives and what they tell us about the significance of Jesus. Newcomers welcome! For further information, contact Bryce Hartshorn (678463).

MONDAY CLUB–the members are very grateful to all who supported the concert on Monday evening,
26th January, when the money raised in ticket sales and donations was £687. This sum, together with our surplus funds, will be donated at the end of this session to our two nominated charities.

Our sincerest condolences and thoughts are extended to Mr David and Mrs Gayle Brotherston, Cloverhill, Ayr, on the passing of Gayle’s parents, Mr John and Mrs Margaret Russell, who died on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th January, respectively. The joint funeral service will take place tomorrow, Monday, at 2.00p.m. at Masonhill Crematorium. Our warmest sympathy is extended to Mr. Robert Reader and the family of Beech Grove on the death of his wife, Helen. The funeral is on Wednesday 4th February at 2.00pm at Masonhill.
