LOCHSIDE WEEKEND: We are taking a group of 15 upper primary children from Lochside on a weekend away from Friday 31st July until Sunday 2nd August. We are looking for another 2 volunteers to help supervise for the weekend. Accommodation is at the Scout Indoor Centre at Bonaly, just outside Edinburgh. WELCOME BBQ: Our hospitality Committee has organised a BBQ to welcome our new Assistant Graeme, his wife Wendy and his children on Sunday 23rd August from 3pm – 5pm in the garden of 7 Bellevale Avenue. Tickets priced £5 will be on sale today after the Service.
CH4 HYMNARY: we are planning to purchase a number of smaller hymn books for use in the pews. They are standard size print but easier to hold. Irene has managed to source a discounted price of £12.50 – if anyone would like a personal copy please hand in monies and name to the office.
