The Minister is conducting both Communion Services at Kingcase Church in Prestwick this morning in his capacity as Interim Moderator in the Vacancy and then conducting the Congregational Meeting to elect the Nominating Committee to select the new minister. He will be preaching in our own Church tonight.
The Minister will be on holiday from Tuesday 9th December to Friday 12th December inclusive. If you require pastoral assistance, please telephone the Office or the Revd Neil McNaught of Alloway Parish Church.
20’s IN THE PEWS: The total collected in November was £108.51. This year monies go to Diabetes (UK), the leading charity that cares for every person affected or at risk of Diabetes. There are 3.8m people in the UK with diabetes, and an estimated 850,000 who are unaware that they have the condition!
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the December edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.
FOOD BANK: The food requested is determined by demand. The Warehouse in Prestwick which distributes the food boxes to hubs in Ayr, Troon, Maybole and Girvan has intimated that the greatest need is for boxes for single people. Always needed are: long life milk, diluting juice, jam, small packets pasta, noodles and rice, small packets sugar, tins of fruit, packet custard and instant mash.

CONGREGATIONAL LUNCH: SUNDAY 21ST DECEMBER in the Midton Road Hall at 12.45pm.. Tickets priced £15 should be paid and collected from the office. Last date for cancellation will be Monday 15th December after which all ordered tickets will be charged. Tickets are now available from the office and after both Worship services.
CHRISTMAS CARD SALE: Miss Kerrie Lee from our Bible Class will be selling her homemade Christmas Cards in the Carrick Park Vestibule after the first service. All proceeds are for the South Ayrshire Food Bank.
THE GUILD: Monday 8th is one of our afternoon meetings at 2.00pm. We are to have a Christmas Songs of Praise led by Roddy McNidder and Alec Welsh, so come in good voice ladies. Friends of the Guild thank you, thank you thank you, with your support again, we raised an amazing £2,400 at our Coffee Morning.
