ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING: meeting for the Congregation will be held in the Church on Thursday 17th March at 7.30pm, followed by tea in the Struthers’ Room. Copies of the ACCOUNTS & BUDGET are available as you leave the Church today.
LIFE & WORK: Pre-ordered copies of the February edition are available for uplifting at the main door of the Church. There are extra copies available at both doors priced £2.20.
FOOD BANK: most needed at Foodbank this week are: sugar, jam, small jars of coffee, tinned meals, tinned or instant potatoes and small diluting juice. Thank you for your continued support.

HALL LETS MEETING: this meeting will be held in the Struthers’ Room at 7.00pm on Tuesday 8th March. If your Group requires a Public Liability Insurance please ensure that this is brought to the meeting. Access keys should also be checked. All Groups must be represented at this meeting.
SONGS of PRAISE: Next Sunday evening we welcome the Ayr Citadel Band of the Salvation Army who will set our feet tapping and lift our hearts as they lead the worship. Also featured will be the Junior Choir, singing the Negro Spiritual “Goin’ Up a Yonder”, trombone solo by Joshua Parkhill, “You can’t stop God” and Bobby Irvine will share how his Christian faith helps him in the workplace.
“OASIS”: Drop in café: Struthers’ Room, every Thursday 10 am – 12 noon. A place to relax, a place to chat; bring a friend! Come when you can, leave when you want. Tea, coffee and biscuits, newspapers and a friendly face!
WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY: 2 March, 7.30 to 8.30pm in the Struthers Room. We’ll discuss the Parable of the Shrewd Manager (Luke 16, vv.1-13), one of Jesus’ most puzzling stories. Is there anything we can learn from this ‘parcel of rogues and rascals’? All most welcome.
THE LADIES FELLOWSHIP: tomorrow evening’s meeting is called: Mystery Night!
OUR PIPE ORGAN is undergoing restoration and the installation of a new Dulciana Stop. The work is going apace in the workshop of Harrison and Harrison in Durham, and the organ will be back in service in early March.
THE GUILD SPRING RALLY will be held on Wednesday 9th March at 3pm in Troon St Meddans. The Right Reverend Angus Morrison, Moderator, will be our Guest Speaker. All are welcome.
MEN’S ASSOCIATION: tomorrow evening the 29th sees a change of speaker when Colin Hume will tell us about the development of Ayr and Troon harbours. A Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 8th March in the Carrick Room at 7-00 p.m. The end of term lunch is being held in the Carrick Lodge Hotel on Wednesday 16th March (12-30 for 1) would any member intending to go who has not confirmed his place please contact the secretary.

The funeral service for Mr Dennis Yorston of Chalmers Road, who died last week will be held tomorrow, Monday, at Masonhill at 9.45a.m.. Our prayers and warmest thoughts are extended to his wife, Cathie, and all the family.
